About CharaSync
CharaSync is a reference-guided AI image and video creation website. It helps creators carry character and object features into new scenes, product edits and short videos.
Who maintains the project?
CharaSync was started in 2026 and is maintained by an independent creator based in China. Product information, guides and examples are published under the CharaSync name. The project maintainer can be reached through the dedicated support email.
How does it work?
Users upload references they have permission to use, describe what should change or stay the same, and generate images or videos. Image generation currently uses GPT Image 2.5, video generation uses Seedance 2.0, and smart prompt rewriting uses GPT-5.6 Luna. The models are accessed through APIMart; CharaSync provides the asset library, creation interface and generation history.
References and explicit instructions help constrain outputs, but do not remove model variability. Faces, lettering and motion can still differ from the request; outputs need human review.
How can you inspect the examples?
Case studies include project-owned fictional references, original outputs, actual prompts, model settings, generation dates and limitations. We distinguish observations about a sample from general conclusions: sample results are not success rates, and API samples are not full customer checkout tests.
