Yes. New accounts receive 50 one-time starter credits for image generation, with no credit card required. These credits do not expire and do not refresh daily or monthly.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Schedule cancellation in Settings → Billing. Your subscription remains active until the end of the current paid billing period, then it stops renewing. Cancellation does not immediately remove paid access or unexpired credits, and does not issue a prorated refund. Credits keep their original expiry dates.
When do plan changes take effect?
Manage your subscription in Settings → Billing. An upgrade within the same billing cycle charges a prorated difference immediately; additional credits are applied after payment is confirmed. Downgrades and changes between monthly and yearly billing apply on the next billing date, with no immediate charge or refund. Existing credits keep their original expiry dates. Review the confirmation before accepting a change.
What happens if a generation fails?
Credits are returned automatically once a generation is confirmed to have failed without producing a usable saved result. A slow response or interrupted file transfer may still be recoverable, so a pending task is not treated as a confirmed failure. Check Generation History for the result and refund status.
Which reference images work best?
Choose clear, well-lit images of the same subject. Keep faces unobstructed and product details visible. Put your main reference first and avoid mixing different people unless you want them together. Use only images you have permission to upload.
Will the character look exactly the same every time?
References help preserve identity, but results can still vary. Large changes in pose, lighting, clothing or camera angle can affect facial details. Describe what must stay the same and what should change, then review each result before using it.
Can I close the page while a generation is running?
Yes. Once your request is accepted and a task is created, processing continues on the backend. Return to Generation History to check its status and saved output. If the provider or file transfer is delayed, recovery can take longer; keeping the tab open is not required.
Where are my images stored, and can I delete them?
Saved outputs remain in Generation History until you delete the generation or close your account. Manage reference assets in your library. Files still used by another asset or generation are retained until those references are removed. Anyone with a media URL may be able to view that file. Third-party AI providers have their own retention policies.
Can I use the results commercially?
Commercial use is subject to our Terms of Service, the model provider’s terms and the rights attached to your inputs. Make sure you have permission to use any people, brands or protected content. Outputs may not be unique; CharaSync does not guarantee exclusive rights or that every result is suitable for commercial use.
When do credits expire, and how are yearly-plan credits issued?
The 50 one-time starter credits and purchased Credit Pack credits never expire. Subscription credits expire 30 days after their scheduled grant date, or at the end of the paid subscription term if that is earlier. Yearly subscriptions issue credits monthly, not all at once. Returning later does not extend expiry dates or restore already expired monthly grants. Check Settings → Credits for your transactions and upcoming expirations.
Are credits refunded if I do not like the result?
A completed generation is not automatically refunded because of a subjective quality concern. Check the reference, prompt and result together; AI can change facial details, text or motion even with clear instructions. If the output is missing, corrupted or appears to have a technical fault, contact support with the generation ID so we can investigate.
What should I do if a generation stays pending?
Open Generation History to check the saved task status. You can leave the site and return later. Avoid submitting the same request again just because it is slow: a new request can use additional credits. If it remains unresolved, contact support using the email link below and include the generation ID and submission time. Completion time varies with the model, queue and file transfer; we do not promise a fixed deadline.
Do I need to verify my email before signing in?
Yes, if you register with an email address and password. Open the verification link sent to your inbox to activate sign-in; you do not need to reset your password. Check spam if the message is missing, and try signing in again to request another verification email. Google sign-in does not require a separate CharaSync verification email.
